A Purchase order is the main document describing all costs, terms and conditions of the sale.
A Purchase Order will supersede a Work Order, regardless of the order in which they were drafted.
A Work Order is a supplement to a Purchase Order. It is drafted in order to provide more detailed description of the design and it's technical specifications if necessary.
It is drafted in a situation when the total cost of the commission can not be calculated in advance or when the charges billed involve labor only.
The production officially starts on the day the signed WO is received. In case the customer decides to abandon the project, he or she is responsible for the full amount of the commission regardless of the percentage of completion.
Unless explicitly described in the Work Order, the execution of every aspect of the design must be left to Leon Megé’s sole discretion as an artist.
The work starts on the date the signed WO is received. Due to the unpredictable nature of custom work, a deadline cannot be guaranteed. To be sure that the finished piece can be delivered before your deadline please confirm with us prior to ordering.
In most cases we are able to provide assurances. The failure to complete the transaction will result in cancellation of an order and our refusal to engage in any kind of future transactions with the client. Any future online purchases by the client will be denied and any communications will be ignored.
Once the Purchase or Work Order is signed it becomes a mutually binding agreement that cannot be revised or cancelled under any circumstances.
A payment must be received within one business day of the Purchase Order issue. The terms of sale will be honored for one business day unless an agreement to extend the terms is reached. An oral or written notification is required in order to get the extension.
Leon Mege reserves the right not to allow the extension for any reason.
